A social sector specialist, Iain Matheson provides independent research and evaluation consultancy services for, and with, government agencies and NGOs. Central to his work is helping social sector organisations to better understand their effectiveness, and achieve, evidence, and evaluate their important results or outcomes in their work with children, young people, adults, or family/whanau.
Research New Zealand applies quantitative and qualitative research theory and methodologies to conduct social research and evaluation projects for its largely public sector client base. Based in Wellington, we follow best practice, while ensuring our work is fit-for-purpose, pragmatic and cost-effective. We are service-oriented and value working closely with our clients and their stakeholders.
We are a multidisciplinary research centre based in Massey University. SHORE (Social and Health Outcomes Research and Evaluation) and Te Ropu Whariki work together in partnership. We have a track record in excellent research and evaluation and we are passionate about providing evaluation which helps people make change for the better and provides evidence of how people are better off.
