Open Space Session on: Evaluation in a Covid19 environment.
June 23 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pmFree
Over the last couple of months we have had to manage through some extraordinary times as we have ‘locked-down’ to protect Aotearoa from Covid19. For the evaluation profession and those involved in evaluation, this has resulted in some major disruptions. Evaluations have been cancelled or rendered irrelevant, data collection in the field has been scuppered, and stakeholder engagement has needed to be either postponed or done via online/virtual means.
This has been a steep learning curve and has not been without its stresses and challenges. We’d like to invite our members to join us for an online discussion on your experiences and learnings through this period, and to share how you’re managing through, as well as a welcome opportunity to ‘connect’.
We will run this event as an open space session. An open space session is like an online un-conference (check out wikipedia’s page if you’d like to read more). You simply need to ‘turn-up’ and ideally bring with you some thoughts about what you’d love to talk about. This might be a really focused conversation on tools people have found useful, or it may be simply that you’d like the chance to check-in and talk about the challenges to our wellbeing.
The ANZEA PD portfolio group will be facilitating this session and will give you full instructions at the start of the session. We are taking the opportunity to experience with some different formats, so we hope you join us on this learning journey! We will feed ideas from this session into developing other free events and our paid PD programme.
