SHORE & Whariki Research Centre, Massey University
SHORE (Social and Health Outcomes Research and Evaluation) and Te Ropu Whariki are two multidisciplinary research groups working in a Treaty of Waitangi partnership model to produce excellent research with the aim of improving health and wellbeing in Aotearoa, New Zealand and globally.
We have a track record in excellent research and evaluation and are passionate about providing evaluation which helps people make change for the better and provides evidence and how people are better off. We also have expertise in conducting policy and community research and evaluation on a variety of health and social topics.
We undertake research and evaluation across a number of sectors, including: health, community, local government, alcohol and drugs, gambling, recreation and sport, gender and sexual identity, and disability.
SHORE & Whariki offer short courses and within organisation training and coaching services in planning, evaluation and public health community action to health providers, funded by the Ministry of Health.
